Teens will learn innovative methods to increase personal power, develop creativity, strengthen relationship and facilitate conflict within themselves and in groups. The course will gather a diverse group of young people with a variety of backgrounds and life experience. The diversity of the group will offer students the opportunity to learn more about difference, explore the roots of conflict and to find their authentic voice and the courage to use it. This practice helps move energy along the spine, stimulates the endocrine system, decreases stress and eliminates toxins. Kundalini yoga can help to clear subconscious conditioning that no longer serves us. It can be helpful for those living with mental illness and addiction. It promotes positive self-esteem and forward momentum in new directions. Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) is accessible to all people, all genders, all sexual identities and orientations, all races, classes, ages, abilities, sizes, and all language backgrounds.
